Agnes N. Mayanja with over 25 years of progressive experience across the banking and financial services industry specializing in risk management, credit analysis, commercial banking, sustainable finance and operational excellence.
She serves as Executive Director of KCB Bank Uganda Limited, contributing to strategic oversight, institutional governance and sustainable growth initiatives. In addition, she acts as Trustee to several retirement benefits schemes, providing fiduciary oversight, ensuring regulatory compliance and safeguarding long-term fund sustainability. Recognized for exceptional leadership in driving operational excellence, digital transformation, and stakeholder engagement, Agnes brings deep industry insight and governance expertise, with a proven ability to lead organizations through complex financial landscapes while maintaining a strong commitment to ethics, transparency and performance.
Agnes is a graduate of the Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt with a Master’s in Business Administration and of Makerere University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication with a major in Public Relations. She also holds various Diplomas in Risk Management, Credit Analysis and Sustainable Finance. She has attended and successfully completed several Executive programmes and courses on leadership, with Strathmore Business School.
