Evelyn Namara is a distinguished technology and fintech strategist with over 15 years of experience driving digital innovation and financial inclusion across Africa. As an Independent Non-Executive Director at KCB Bank Uganda Ltd, she chairs the Board Risk Committee and Board Credit Committee, while also serving on the Board Audit Committee. In these roles, Evelyn provides strategic oversight on credit risk, operational resilience, and digital transformation, ensuring the bank’s alignment with regulatory standards and market demands.

Her expertise spans fintech, mobile money, and digital payments, underpinned by a strong governance and risk management background. Evelyn’s leadership extends globally as the Senior Programs Manager at the Global Digital Inclusion Partnership (GDIP), where she advances policies and initiatives to bridge the digital divide in emerging economies. She is also the Founder of Vouch Digital, a pioneering platform that leverages traceable digital payments for aid distribution, serving governments, NGOs, and private sector partners.
