Education and Professional Background:

Patience A. V. Arinaitwe is a seasoned Human Resources Executive with over 15 years of progressive experience driving people strategy, organisational development and cultural transformation across financial services, insurance and capital markets. She is recognised for building high-performance cultures, strengthening talent systems and aligning HR strategy to institutional priorities.


Before joining KCB Bank Uganda as Head of Human Resources, Patience served in key HR roles at ICEA LION Group, Faulu Uganda (now Opportunity Bank Uganda) and the Uganda Securities Exchange, contributing to workforce transformation and people-led performance across diverse operating environments. Patience is passionate about people development and talent optimisation and is known for creating high-performance work environments through coaching, mentoring and impactful employee engagement initiatives. She is also a strong advocate for wellness and fitness, championing holistic wellbeing as a strategic driver of productivity.


Patience holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Uganda Management Institute (UMI) and a Bachelor of Social Sciences from Makerere University (MUK). She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), UK. She is a graduate of the prestigious Female Future Leadership Programme - an initiative of the Norwegian Embassy in partnership with the Federation of Uganda Employers and a certified Engagement and Productivity Coach with a diploma from CDI Africa. Patience is an active member of HRMAU, CIPD and Girls for Girls (G4G), a global mentorship movement dedicated to empowering women to lead confidently across all spheres of life.
