Innocent Kakande Bitoogo is a professional Accountant with over 20 years of experience in internal audit, external audit and consultancy services within the financial services sector.
He has held senior leadership roles in banking at Housing Finance Bank, Top Finance Bank, and BRAC Uganda Bank, where he provided audit oversight, strengthened internal control frameworks and enhanced governance practices. Earlier in his career, he worked in external audit and consultancy, delivering statutory and investigative audits, taxation services, accounting systems reviews and Quality Assurance engagements.
Innocent holds a Master’s degree in Management Studies and a Postgraduate degree in Project Planning and Management from Uganda Management Institute (UMI). He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) and a Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
